Do YOU Drink Tea?

 In My Blogs

Calling all tea drinkers and/or friends you know who are tea drinkers or people knowledgeable about tea ceremonies.

For the coming year-plus, a collaborative effort is underway regarding tea and the various cultures around the world who offer tea as ceremony as well as individuals drinking tea for solace.

Currently, about 30 people have taken a brief survey (click here and request survey) and offered insights and information regarding their use and knowledge of tea. My request is to find many more willing participants. Featured below is art celebrating tea created by Lissa Hunter. If you request the survey, you will learn about the opportunity for you to offer work (art, poetry, music) celebrating tea in some fashion.

Throughout the year, I will be creating two pieces of art for each country that prizes tea as ceremony as well as solace. Morocco’s ceremony is captured below. The higher the pour, the more skilled the tea maker and always, the use of fresh mint leaves.

Hi Ann, I DO drink tea and would love to take your survey. The links above lead to an outlook email spot that doesn’t work for me. Thought you could send it directly?

I walked through your show at mercy Center this week, but next Wednesday will be able to spend time with it during a day of prayer for Ash Wednesday. I’m looking forward to it..bowls have been part of my path of awakening.. peace to you Ann, thank you for your art and for sending the survey – Lisa

Delighted to have your participation Lisa! And Claire’s workshop will be enriching, I am sure. As for the survey, I needed your email to send it directly. It was not possible to link it directly into the blog – something to do with Word Press. I will send it to you now. And thank you for your gracious words about the bowls. Containers to be filled, emptied, and refilled. So powerful.
