 In Learning to See

Sure, those of us with sight can see. But do we look? Do we take time to “notice?” The purpose of the posted photos is to ask if you see more than a cloud, a leaf, or a crack in the sidewalk. It’s a kids’ game. But it’s fun. And the point is to get each of us to slow down and observe our surroundings.

After our horrific recent storms, this looks like the blown down nest of some unsuspecting feathered creature.
The morning dove builds a nest that shows the least amount of thought: a few twigs balanced precariously on a limb. In no time at all, an egg or two will also be seen on site.
    Amazing how these creatures survive!

You are not alone, patsy, in letting the current news influence what you see. Others who send me notices privately have also mentioned our current weather. Interesting about the doves. I did not know this. Thanks.
