 In Learning to See

Sure, those of us with sight can see. But do we look? Do we take time to “notice?” The purpose of the posted photos is to ask if you see more than a cloud, a leaf, or a crack in the sidewalk. It’s a kids’ game. But it’s fun. And the point is to get each of us to slow down and observe our surroundings.

Yes, it is easy to see the bottom of a shoe. But, what if you see small elf houses tucked in a forest?
Imagine the life these elves have! They hide, play and live an awesome existence…. hidden from worldly issues. Ahhhh, no politics!

patsy, I love your mind. But then I am big on fairy houses and often see them on forest walks. There is a very special one on the Haystack property, Deer Isle, Maine.

Hmmm, first I thought it was the bark of a tree. Then I thought the footprint of a heavy shoe. But perhaps it’s the track of a tire left by heavy machinery in mud. Hmmm.

If you were not being a realist, but looking just at the shapes, then what might you see?
