 In Learning to See

Sure, those of us with sight can see. But do we look? Do we take time to “notice?” The purpose of the posted photos is to ask if you see more than a cloud, a leaf, or a crack in the sidewalk. It’s a kids’ game. But it’s fun. And the point is to get each of us to slow down and observe our surroundings.

My first thought was starfish even though it doesn’t have enough “legs”. Then my mind went to childhood and thought of treasure maps… X marks the spot where the gold is buried.

I see a black bird… Perhaps a crow, flapping his wings as he flies. And then I see some tiny eyes peeking out from his body area… Perhaps he has a friend aboard hiding in his feathers.

Having a friend aboard is a lovely idea. Connections and collaborations.
